WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

Sexual harassment* is a very serious issue. Although this is very important, many people do not take the time or effort to acknowledge this matter. Maybe it is because they’re afraid, there’s no one to talk to about it, or perhaps no one knows what sexual harassment is. Sisters in Strength is a program affiliated with Girls for Gender Equity, a nonprofit organization that focuses on breaking down barriers for girls and women through education, organizing, and physical fitness. This year, the Sisters in Strength Youth Organizers are working on the issue of sexual harassment in schools. By filling out your opinions and ideas in our Survey and this Slam Book, we can make a difference together.

* sexual harassment is any unwanted behavior of a sexual nature
